What this covers
This policy explains what personal data kubepath.io collects through its contact form, assessment request form and checklist download form, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Contact form: name, work email, company, the area you need help with, and your message.
- Assessment request form: the same, plus assessment type, current environment, timeline and any additional information you choose to add.
- Checklist download form: email address and, optionally, your name.
- Technical data: our web server keeps standard access logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested), and the form service uses your IP address for short-term rate limiting to prevent abuse.
Please do not put passwords, keys or other secrets in any form field.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and discuss possible work.
- To scope and follow up on assessment requests.
- To send you the checklist you asked for.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. Where GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and on steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
Cookies and third parties
This site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. To display the page, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and scripts from unpkg.com, so those providers receive your IP address and standard request data.
Retention
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and for [TODO: retention period] afterwards, unless we start working together, in which case records are kept as needed for that engagement.
Who processes your data
Form submissions are delivered to us by email through a third-party email provider. [TODO: list the form or email provider and the hosting provider. The form currently sends email through Resend.]
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@kubepath.io and we will respond. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
